Yanfeng 5th Feather Pattern Damascus Custom Knife

The Yanfeng 5th is a striking custom knife that showcases the poetic beauty of Mingjiang forged “Crushed Flower & Feather” pattern Damascus steel. The 145 mm blade (35 mm wide, 3.5 mm thick) features an acid-etched black & white finish that brings out the intricate, flowing feather-like layers – each blade a unique fingerprint of the forger’s art. Heat‑treated to approximately 60 HRC, it offers an ideal balance of edge retention and toughness. The handle is a study in refined contrast, combining a 304 stainless steel guard and pommel with handle scales made from stabilized mammoth bone and fossilized mammoth molar – the warm, organic textures of ancient ivory beautifully offset by the cool precision of stainless steel. At 260 mm overall, the Yanfeng 5th is completed by a hand-carved and inlaid leather sheath crafted from Italian vegetable-tanned top-grain cowhide, making this knife as much a piece of heirloom art as a functional cutting tool.
